Arrive at Amman Airport, where we will meet you, assist with immigration and then transfer to your hotel in Amman. Amman is one of the oldest cities in the world, inhabited since the bronze age. The city is growing into a modern city, but retains its character and history.
Depending on your flight arrival time, you may have free time to explore on your own.

Overnight in Amman.
After an early breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel’s lobby and drive south to the starting point of our hike near Madaba.
The dramatic Wadi Hidan canyon features a beautiful wild mountain scenery, rugged basaltic stone, narrow gorges, fresh natural pools, and a surprising amount of vegetation. There are some tricky rock steps which require the use of hands and feet. Besides that, you will need to swim in some parts, and are allowed to jump or slide into the water in others. Therefore expect to get completely wet (completely meaning head to toe – you will need a dry bag for any personal items). Make also sure you wear shoes and clothes you are happy to get wet in. We recommend tough trainers.
After exploring the wadi we will continue on to Dana Village, for an evening to relax and enjoy the scenic views over the Dana Biosphere Reserve. If there is time, your guide will also take you for a short sunset tour around the historic village.
Please note: Hiking in Wadi Hidan is weather permitting. Otherwise the hike will be replaced with an alternative similar one.

Start the day with a short transfer from Dana Village to Shobak Castle, the first of a series of Crusader Castles built in Jordan. It was was constructed in 1115 by Baldwin I, and had to surrender only in 1189 when it was taken by the Great Saladin. From Shobak we then cycle one of the most epic stages of the Jordan Bike Trail to Little Petra. Most of the route is off-road on a mixture of dirt tracks and roads, which lead us around the mountains of Dana and Petra, and to great views across the Jordan valley.
Lunch boxes will be provided on our way by a local family from Petra. Close to the end of the ride enjoy a visit to Little Petra. Then cycle the last kilometers to your overnight camp hidden behind the region’s typical mushroom rocks, where you will get a first-hand impression of the traditional Bedouin hospitality.

Discover another stage of the Jordan Bike Trail today, equally stunning as the last one. Start a long descent off-road from the small town of Rajif, located at the top of the large hill just behind Petra, towards Wadi Rum. Don’t miss the many scenic views along the route. Lunch will be provided by a local Bedouin family on our way.
Upon arrival to Wadi Rum change your bike for another, more ‘desert-proof’ means of transport. The late afternoon light is perfect to sway on camel back through the magic desert landscape, and eventually settle on top of a sand dune to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Later, we will take you by jeep to your camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and the general hospitality of the local Bedouins.

Enjoy a boat ride on a glass bottom boat in the morning. While on the boat, there is plenty of time to swim and snorkel, view the coral and a fantastic range of tropical fish, or relax on the sun deck and take in the views across Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Lunch is included on the boat – usually in form of a BBQ. You will then head north for overnight at a resort on the shores of the Dead Sea.
Did you know, that at over 400m below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest accessible (meaning: located over water) point on earth?! The very high content of salt also enables you to float effortlessly at the water surface.
Enjoy the rest of the day (or, time depending, the morning of the next day) at or in the Dead Sea – relax, swim, float, rest by the pool, or pamper yourself with spa treatments.
