What is the path of the rift valley mountains?


It is a long hiking trail in Jordan, connecting Dana Nature Reserve and Feynan Inn with Petra through the Shoubak Highlands. About 100 km from Dana extends the ancient village to Petra slightly, and the elevation varies from section to section, ranging from 1,300 m to 320 m above sea level and again reaching 1665 m above sea level halfway. While crossing the mountains and plateaus, visitors can explore the magnificent landscapes and take their breath due to the magnificent geological shapes. Enjoy the inspiring views of the Rift Valley. The interaction with the locals through this crossing is spectacular and they are deeply experienced in the camping of Bedouin poetry houses.

1: Dana Village - Feynan (Wadi Dana Path)

Aisle Description:

The journey begins from the glorious highlands before turning around the cliffs and plains where serenity, there are interrupt your serenity; It is the sound of bird song, and the smell of flowers permeates the cold air waves of the valley. 2: Feynan - Wadi Ghuwair - Al Bustan (Wadi Al Nakheel Path)

Aisle Description:

This corridor offers the possibility of a waterway through some refreshing wet pools especially in the spring time.


 The visitor enjoys a break with a cup of tea smells of fire and is more familiar with the area by the accompanying local guide.


Upon arrival at the orchard, the hospitable Bedouin receive visitors and prepare poetry for a quiet night.


3: Al Bustan Area - Shoubak Fortress (Shoubak Fortress Path)

Aisle Description:


 Departing from the orchard, the visitor is more and more amazed by the geology of the region.


 In this green area full of terraces, we find a variety of trees inherent in Jordan, including butter trees, figs and ancient Roman olives.


The narrow Seq leads to Shobak Castle, and this historic road is full of ancient caves that were used as tombs in ancient times.


4: Shobak Castle - Ras Al Faid Area (Al Matl Road)

Aisle Description:

The walk begins from the ancient village of Sayhan, which was inhabited by the local Shoubak residents.


Only the ruins of old stone houses testify to the existence of living communities in Sayhan. This corridor leads to breathtaking views that are the thrill of the corridor, passing through the Al-Hazim area.


6: Furnace Area - Unicode Graves
